What are the Prepaid U25, U35, U40 & U50 plans?
Prepaid U25, U35, U40 & U50 are prepaid subscription services for data and calls on your mobile phone. They are valid for 30 days, and your prepaid line must remain active in order to enjoy.

Are the Unlimited Calls that come with U Plans available for international calls or overseas usage?
No. All Unlimited Calls are available for domestic usage only. Standard IDD rates and roaming charges apply.
How does the free 30 Hours 4G/5G Speed Booster that comes with Prepaid U25 work?
Free 30 Hours 4G/5G Speed Booster allows you to experience 4G/5G speed for 1 hour a day, or 30 hours in a month.
You can redeem 1 hour of Speed Booster daily from MyUMobile app. The Speed Booster is activated immediately after redemption. You will enjoy 4G or 5G speed based on the best network available in your area.
Daily redemption required.
Who is eligible to subscribe to the new Prepaid Pack?
New or existing U Mobile subscribers who purchase the new prepaid SIM pack & subscribers who port in to new U Mobile 5G-Ready Prepaid Plan from 23 Feb 2022 onwards.
Can I still purchase the previous Unlimited Funz SIM pack from 23 Feb 2022 onwards?
Yes, the Unlimited FUNZ SIM pack will still be available after 23 Feb 2022.
If you wish to get the Prepaid U Plans (U25, U35, U40 or U50), you will need to first upgrade to the 5G Prepaid plan via MyUMobile App or UMB (dial *118#).
If I am an existing U Mobile Prepaid customer, can I change to the new prepaid SIM pack?
Yes. You can change via MyUMobile App or UMB (dial *118#). Any remaining credit balance will be carried over. However, all freebies, packages and validity will be forfeited. You will have 5 days active period upon successful change.
What are Hotspot Add-Ons?
Hotspot Add-Ons enables hotspot on your Base Plan (U Prepaid/Travellers plan). Hotspot speed will follow your Base Plan, and hotspot data usage will be drawn from the fair usage policy (FUP) of your Base Plan.

How do I activate Hotspot Add-Ons?
You can subscribe to Hotspot Add-Ons using these channels:
i. MyUMobile App
Step 1: Launch the MyUMobile App.
Step 2: Select Add-Ons, and search for “Hotspot” or “Roam & Travel” tab.
Step 3: Select the Hotspot Add-Ons and confirm your subscription.
ii. UMB
Step 1: Dial *118#
Step 2: Select the Hotspot Add-Ons
Step 3: Confirm your subscription.
Please ensure you have enough balance in your Prepaid account and an active base plan for successful activation.
What are the 2 Hours Speed Booster & 24 Hours Speed Booster?
2 Hours Speed Booster & 24 Hours Speed Booster are Add-Ons passes to enhance the internet speeds for your respective plans. They are valid for 2 hours & 24 hours respectively and do not give any additional data quota in your plan’s subscription. Your Prepaid line must remain active to enjoy this.
For those internet plans with Fair Usage Policy (FUP), namely U Prepaid/Travellers plan. Upon reaching the FUP quota, your speed will remain at 512 kbps even if you subscribed to the 2 Hours Speed Booster or the 24 Hours Speed Booster.
How much are 2 Hours Speed Booster & 24 Hours Speed Booster?
- 2 Hours Speed Booster is RM1
- 24 Hours Speed Booster is RM5
Am I allowed to share my data from the Daily or Weekly Plans with other devices via mobile hotspot?
No. The plans are meant for personal use on your smartphone only.
Can I purchase a different Daily or Weekly Plan before my current plan expires?
Yes. Your data usage will first consume the plan with the shortest validity.
Can I purchase Daily or Weekly Plan with an existing Monthly Plan?
Yes. Your Daily or Weekly Plan data will first be utilized until the quota is fully consumed or when it expires, before it takes on the data from your Monthly Plan.
