Was staying at the hotel next to this dinning spot. Saw an elder couple w/ a shirt that said angles dinner. Oldest in Florida so I immediately looked it up and noticed it was across the street from my hotel. Went to check it out w/ some friends and wow the food was delicious. The space inside was small for the 7 of us so we sat a the outdoor tabeles. I had a Goliath w/ cheese and bacon and order a side of loaded fries. Shared a banana milkshake w/ a friend but overall the food and atmosphere of the spot was great. If I’m ever in Palatka again I’m stopping there to try some other dishes. Super recommended spot!

Probably the best burger I've ever had!! The oldest Diner in Florida! The atmosphere is amazing!! Service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back!!

Had a lunch stop in Palatka, FL and Angel's Dining Car that has been in this location since 1932!! The chicken livers were cooked to perfection soft centers with a crunchy outside plus the Angel's signature sandwiches have eggs, bacon, beef patties & cheese! It's located right next to St John's River bridge on the west side. Loved the golden oldies music playing and waitresses were very prompt and attentive, Such a great and pleasant surprise gem of a quaint restaurant!

Hiya! Dropped by Angel's this morning and had some great French toast and bacon. Fluffy, tasty and crispy. Orange juice was tall and just the right side of tart. On the way out we grabbed a peppermint Hot chocolate that did the trick in this 30° weather.

Small indoors, but great staff and the customers were all very nice. Overall a good experience.
Fairly inexpensive for the size of the burgers you get. I love chili cheese fries, but pass on this if you are looking for traditional style chili fries. These tested like someone just opened a can of chili with beans and poured it over the fries.

What a treat to be able to step into the past when we enjoyed the simple things like a Banana milkshake with a cherry on top or Fried Pickles with homemade Ranch dressing. The decorations inside are amazing and perfect for a dinner. I have had the cheeseburgers in the past and they were delicious I just didn’t have time this trip. I plan on stopping by soon and enjoying the food and the service. Super sweet and cute staff. Fast friendly folks and great food. Plenty of SWAG to choose from and you can get food to go for home. Enjoy.

Delicious quaint place, a must go!! I had the chicken sandwich it was so juicy and delicious, hubby had the burger it was hand made not frozen delicious!!

This was a great little diner! We stopped here after hanging out at the beach and this definitely hit the spot. Nice that they are dog friendly as well. The burger was cooked perfectly and very tasty. We split a bunch of sides and highly recommend the corn nuggets, onion rings and fried pickles! We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're passing through!

Another hidden gem in plain view in Palatka (the other being the Donald Ross Municipal golf course!). Imagine a diner that opened in 1932 that has the front grill of a 57 Chev at on end. Food is great, atmosphere is really cool! A must stop on your journey!

I do not normally take time to rate places I visit, so being that I am making a point of doing so for this diner, it is because I found it exceptional. There is a reason that this place has been around for 90 years.
It was my first time dining here and although the place is apparently well known for their burgers, I cannot eat beef. So, I decided to try their fried fish sandwich. I found their flounder sandwich to be best fish sandwich I have eaten anywhere in the USA! And I travel all over this country. I also was fortunate in that the included side order was their delicious onion rings. Very crunchy outside, tender, sweet onion inside, and not a drop of grease on them. Incredible! To top it off, the server was quick, friendly, professional and non-pushy. For such an unassuming little diner, I was totally floored!!! I shall return with others to share in this small town gem.

The oldest dining car in Florida! Its a quaint diner atmosphere, very small interior but offers drive in style car service, as well as plenty of covered picnic bench seating outside. The food was fantastic! Real battered onion rings, and monster burger offerings (up to 1lb patties!!)

What a great discovery on my drive through Florida. The Black Bottom sandwich and the Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing! Pleasant atmosphere with a great menu. I wasn’t looking for it but i’m very glad I found it. Florida’s oldest diner! Check it out!

Was recommended by a guy in st augustine to stop here on the way home. I'm so glad we did! Wish I lived closer I'd be there all the time! The food was delicious. Best onion rings I have ever had in my life. Everything was cooked to perfection. The waitresses were great as well. Excellent service. We had everything we needed before we knew we needed it lol. The atmosphere is really old time diner feel with lots of cool old decorations. They have indoor and outdoor seating but was fun to sit inside and get the full experience. You can also drive in and be served at your car. If your in the area definately stop in. You won't regret it I promise!

Waitresses are always so nice. Always try to be as quick as possible regardless of how busy it is. Cooks always doing the food you order and such a great job!

Our favorite diner around. We often drive from DeLand just to have a burger and some of their delicious onion rings. So glad this place is still up and running strong.

I have been eating at Angel's for over 30 years. During that time I have never had a bad meal. They have the best burgers in Fl and GREAT milkshakes. I will continue to dine here for the rest of my life!

That was one tasty burger. The atmosphere is quaint and what you'd expect for a train car diner in the middle of a country town. The staff were very friendly. We'll be stopping there again next time we drive through
